Osu Kannon temple and shopping street (Hitsumabushi, a local dish)
The course including this spot : The third largest city in Japan with considerable historical interest and manufacturing power

Enjoy the colourful chaos of this shopping area and the local specialty "Hitsumabushi"

Right next to the visually impressive temple (don't forget to feed the pigeons, and look closely: there are little passages here and there which are easy to miss) is a long shopping street with a very laid-back feel. There are many types of shops, including those serving the popular local eel dish "hitsumabushi". There are actually four streets here with 1200 shops in nine shopping districts, so check them out!
